Pet owners need different services at different moments — an emergency clinic one week, a hotel before a trip the next, a new home for a pet after that. Split across separate sites, the search starts again every time. The system had to hold very different categories in one search structure that still finds things.

Wide coverage that is still findable

More than a dozen categories, from clinics to pet farewells, sit in one selector alongside a province filter and a "near me" mode.

Not everything here is a transaction

Adoption, lost-pet notices and pet-friendly places get their own menu items, because they answer a different intention from looking for a service.

Businesses list themselves

Shops and clinics register and manage their own profiles, with a business-verified status shown on the card.

Articles catch people from search

Pet-care content catches people researching a question and passes them on to the relevant service.
